B.A. Psych | J.D. Tech Law

I’m Ashley Eleftheriou — a technology entrepreneur, digital ethics advocate, and founder with over 15 years of experience building human-centered products in the San Francisco Bay Area. With degrees in Law and Psychology, my work sits at the intersection of technology, policy, accessibility, and human behavior.
Throughout my career, I’ve focused on creating technology that genuinely serves people — from accessibility tools that helped tens of thousands of blind users type as quickly as sighted ones, to the first Apple Watch–only app to reach #1 on the App Store’s paid charts.
My perspective on technology deepened when my husband and I led a landmark antitrust and consumer rights case against Apple, challenging unfair App Store practices that hurt small developers and users. That experience helped spark broader conversations about fairness and accountability in tech — our work was echoed in U.S. Senate hearings, Biden Administration reports, and policy debates around the world.
This experience changed my focus. I began to see how the same manipulative design choices that distort markets also distort our attention — and how that quiet erosion is reshaping childhood itself.
Today, I help families and educators navigate the attention economy with clarity and confidence. Through my work with Taking Back Our Digital Lives and The Digital Childhood Project, I’m committed to raising a generation of kids who use technology creatively, critically, and consciously.
At the heart of everything I do is one simple belief:
Technology should amplify our humanity — not replace it.
